To make it easier for you to decide which trip is the best for you, we have chosen to grade our trips at the top of each tour page with a number of hikers or bikes.
We operate with 3 levels of each activity:
Relatively flat landscape with some hilly parts. Here everyone who enjoys cycling and/or walking can participate. Some preparation is required, but with normal physical health, you can handle this just fine.
Hiking/biking time 3-5 hours
Hilly landscape with some ascents and descents. Anyone who loves cycling and / or walking can participate.
For biking: You should have biked in advance in areas where the landscape is hilly. We strongly recommend the use of cycling shoes.
For hiking: we recommend that you have some experience with hiking and/or other physical activities that requires endurance.
Hiking/biking time 3-7 hours
Hilly landscape with some challenging climbs and longer downhills.
All of us cycle on road bike, when on the road, or MTB in terrain and/or on gravel roads. We all use cycling shoes for both alternatives. You do not have to be an elite cyclist to participate on these trips, but it is important that you really like to ride a bike and like physical challenges. Prepare yourself so that you are used to sit for hours on the bike and is capable of cycling 60-100 km several consecutive days
These tours require more of you as a participant. It can be a bit demanding during the day, but if you like to exercise and push yourself a little bit, this will be a memorable experience.
